The circular economy (CE) is often proposed as the most significant principle we need to adopt as a society.
While everyone’s heard of a basic strategy of the circular economy, the 3 Rs: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Yet very few people know how to put CE strategies into practice to benefit their lives and their communities.
Our programme is designed to help you understand the key concepts of CE in order to increase efficiency and productivity in a sustainable way.
The circular economy is not only great for the planet, but it can also be great for business as well.

- Legislation and Policy: Interpret local and national policies and strategies on CE.
- CE Initiatives: Prioritise a wide range of CE initiatives (e.g. plastic free, waste management, compostable ect…) that are most applicable to your community.
- Create your CE Action Plan: Put your knowledge into practice by first creating a CE action plan.
Course Structure
With a total commitment of 8 hours, the Circular Economy course can be implemented through a curated course structure specific to your community. Our most popular structure is as outlined below:
In-person site visit (3hrs):
- A practical session where a sustainability expert comes to your business to perform a simple waste audit, recommend CE initiatives and discuss CE strategies that are most applicable.
Online (3 Sessions – 6 hours):
- Engage in dynamic online sessions spanning three modules, covering fundamentals and the latest CE topics.
Optional Self-Directed via E-Learning (3 Tools – 3hours):
- Deepen your knowledge through e-learning tools, allowing you to explore specific aspects of CE at your own pace.
