What is LANTRA accreditation?
LANTRA is an organisation that has over 50 years of ‘Skill Development Experience in the land-based and environmental sector’. Veri Connect has been a certified partner with LANTRA for more than 2 years now, with Climate Action 101 being one of the certified courses we (developed and) deliver.
Course Structure
The accredited Climate Action 101 course is thoughtfully designed to provide a well-rounded understanding of climate-related topics. Participants can expect an immersive learning journey encompassing various formats, totalling 14 hour commitment for accreditation with 25 hours of optional e-learning resources, as outlined below:
In-person (2 Field Sessions – 4 hours): Embark on practical explorations during two field sessions, each lasting two hours, to enhance your understanding of climate-related phenomena.
Online (5 Sessions – 10 hours): Engage in dynamic online sessions spanning five modules, covering topics such as climate change basics, biodiversity conservation, water resources, citizen science, and resource efficiency, totalling 10 hours of interactive learning.
Optional Self-Directed via E-Learning (25 Tools – 25 hours): Deepen your knowledge through 25 e-learning tools, allowing you to explore specific aspects of climate action at your own pace, contributing to a total of 25 hours of self-directed learning.
This comprehensive approach ensures a rich and diverse learning experience for participants in Climate Action 101.
